David Morrissey – star of Sherwood, The Walking Dead and Britannia talks to performers from Film, Theatre and TV about what happened before, during and after one significant role in their career.

About David:

David is considered one of the most versatile British actors of his generation, having performed in an eclectic range of productions for film, television and stage.  

Born in Liverpool, David left to study in London at RADA and upon graduation secured varied and challenging roles, which includes The Walking Dead, The Missing, Blackpool, State Of Play and The Deal for which he won the RTS best actor awards for his portrayal of Gordon Brown. 

David is also the UK Good Will Ambassador for UNHCR and a patron of The Bike Project and The Felix Project. He is also a passionate supporter of Reprieve.

About Simon:

Following a degree in Drama & Theatre Arts at Birmingham University and Drama School at The Webber Douglas Academy, Simon has worked as an actor in Film, TV & Theatre for more than 25 years.

During that time he has run his own theatre company Counterpoint set up a telemarketing enterprise for out of work actors Professional Communicators Ltd and held the position of Youth & Community Director at Oxford United Football Club from 2008-2014.

Simon also wrote and directed the short film Salvage starring Peter Capaldi and Roy Marsden and is an Executive Producer on the biggest grossing independent feature film of 2019 Mrs Lowry & Son starring Timothy Spall & Vanessa Redgrave.

Simon founded Just Voices Agency in 2005 and is a founding Director of leading educational software company The Education Office.
