Rufus Jones in ‘Rivals’ on Disney+

Released on Disney+ next month, Rufus Jones stars as Paul Stratton in ‘Rivals’.

About the show: It is 1986 and Britain is booming. “Rivals” dives headfirst into the cutthroat world of TV where hair-dos are big and ambitions are even bigger. Deals are brokered in boardrooms, as well as bedrooms. Nobody can be sure who will come out on top. With every man and woman out only for themselves, can true love really blossom in this highly anticipated adaptation of Jilly Cooper’s bestselling Rutshire Chronicles novel?

You can also catch Rufus in the Apple TV+ series HIJACK, FUNNY WOMAN for Sky and the feature film THE PEOPLE WE HATE AT THE WEDDING with Allison Janney and Kristen Bell. Rufus can soon be seen in feature film WONKA for Warner Bros. Other highlights include, US docu-drama ROOSEVELT, for the History and A&E channel, playing the title role. Feature film SILENT NIGHT, starring opposite Keira Knightley and Matthew Goode, and the BBC drama FOUR LIVES opposite Stephen Merchant. The second series of hit BAFTA-nominated comedy show HOME, created, written by and starring Rufus, can be seen on All4. He’s currently adapting this for the US with Ben Stiller. Other credits include feature film STAN & OLLIE alongside Steve Coogan and John C Reilly, THE FOREIGNER with Jackie Chan, PADDINGTON, W1A, CAMPING, STAG and THE CASUAL VACANCY. In theatre Rufus has most recently starred in DEAD FUNNY in the West End alongside Katherine Parkinson and Steve Pemberton.
