Pinocchio Unstrung heads to cinemas this July, with Emma Tate in the cast

Posted on 29th May 2026

Pinocchio Unstrung is heading to North American cinemas on 24 July, which means more dark fairytale news for Emma Tate. We shared the trailer earlier this spring, and now the film has its theatrical release date locked in, with Emma credited in the cast as Carving.

Emma’s earlier Just Voices feature introduced the film as a horror reimagining of the classic story, and this latest release update gives audiences a date to put in the diary.

It is always great to hear Emma pop up in projects that move between family favourites, bold character work and darker genre releases. Her voice credits are as diverse as her voice, including Numberblocks, Horrid Henry, Bob the Builder, Shaun the Sheep Movie and The Jungle Book, which says plenty about her range.

A lovely update for Emma, and another good reason to keep Pinocchio Unstrung on the radar ahead of its July cinema release!
