Nichola McAuliffe returns to Annie Wobbler at the Finborough Theatre

We’re delighted to share that Nichola McAuliffe will return to Annie Wobbler this September, performing in Annie Wobbler (Revisited) at the Finborough Theatre.

Written by Arnold Wesker, Annie Wobbler was originally created especially for Nichola McAuliffe. Two years later, it was produced in Birmingham, on the London Fringe, and transferred to the West End.

Now, 45 years on, Nichola returns with Annie Wobbler (Revisited), a new version of the original play cycle for the 21st century.

Across three short plays, Nichola presents three very different Annies: Anna, a Gen Z graduate battling anxiety; Annabella, a novelist with a fierce new appetite for life; and Annie, a homeless older woman revisiting her past late at night in a railway station.

The production runs at the Finborough Theatre from 2 to 26 September 2026.

Nichola is best known for her roles in Surgical Spirit for TV, as well as voice work in Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Die. Her voice is described on our website as authoritative, funny and assured.
