Jason Manford to star in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at the London Palladium.

Jasonwill star as the Cowardly Lion, with further casting to be announced. As well as one of the UK’s leading comedians, Jason’s previous musical credits include Sweeney Todd, The Producers and Curtains.

The Wizard of Oz previously premiered at Leicester Curve last year.

Nikolai Foster will direct the musical, with choreography by Shay Barclay, set design by Colin Richmond, projection designer by Douglas O’Connell, costume and puppet design by Rachael Canning, lighting design by Ben Cracknell and sound design by Adam Fisher.

The creative team is completed with creative consultant Mark Kaufman, musical director and musical supervisor George Dyer, casting director Kay Magson, props supervisor Marcus Hall Props and wigs, hair and makeup design by Elizabeth Marini.
