Alec Newman in ‘Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition’ expansion.

Fresh from his BAFTA win earlier this year for his performance in Still Wakes The Deep, Alec Newman brings his formidable voice talent to the latest Age of Empires II expansion, Chronicles: Alexander the Great.

Releasing 14 October, this epic new campaign spans 18 scenarios and follows Alexander from his teenage years as a young prince through to his legendary conquests in Greece, the Balkans, Persia, and India. Alongside commanding his armies in battle, players are immersed in a story-rich narrative filled with characters, including Alec as Philip.

The expansion also introduces three new civilizations – the Macedonians, Thracians, and Puru – and features animated mosaic cutscenes, all created with meticulous historical research and detail.

It’s another landmark role for Alec, whose distinctive voice continues to captivate audiences across games, film, TV, and beyond.
